At Levine’s we have quite a “salty and crunchy tooth.”   When we received the box of Biscoito de Polvilho from Polvilho Bakery, we hardly knew what we were in for.  Love at first crunch! Introducing  this artisanal spin on the favorite snack time of Brazil. Meet Daniela Martins-Schwarzbauer on Sunday February 9 at the first Gluten Free EatUP! She has brought the flavor of her home Brazil to America.  One of the many shining stars creating delights out of the Entrepreneur Space in Long Island City – these baked treats are made from Yuca (Cassava) starch using all natural ingredients, basically eggs, water, sea salt, milk (or coconut milk), sunflower oil (or coconut oil).

Four different flavors: plain, sweet, Parmesan ( our favorite so far) and coconut oil & flax seed.
Bring a shopping bag, you are sure to want to stock up on these!
